Welcome To
Delmarva Adult & Teen Challenge

"You may have a hard time believing there is a way out of addiction.
Let us show you the way."

You have tried countless times and failed. Pain, disappointment, anger, and resentment can make us feel completely powerless, lost and alone. The circumstances you are facing may even make you feel hopeless - emotions can keep us from seeing clearly. If this describes you or someone you love or care about, you have come to the right place. Delmarva Adult & Teen Challenge can help. Adult & Teen Challenge has a proven track record of helping people whose lives have been set on a ruinous course.

Delmarva Adult & Teen Challenge believes in second chances. Our purpose to put hope within reach of every person who struggles with addiction, to see men and women restored from the brokenness caused by drug and alcohol abuse and other life controlling problems. We believe that wholeness comes by having your heart and mind renewed with the truth. We believe in God's ability to change a person's life.

We know that given the chance, every person can go on to lead a life of purpose, freedom, and joy. I trust that you will find the help you need as you research our various programs and services. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions.

Bob Carey
Executive Director

Men's Program

Delmarva Adult & Teen Challenge Men’s Campus is located in Seaford, Delaware and serves men, ages eighteen and above, with a desire to overcome life-controlling addictions.

We are a 12-month, residential, faith-based program that addresses the mind, body, and spirit of our students.

Women's Program

Home of Hope, is located in Bridgeville, Delaware and serves women, ages eighteen and above, who have a desire to overcome life-controlling addictions.

Home of Hope also serves pregnant women and women with young children (children under school-age). Children are able to live alongside their mother and receive childcare during the day while the mother is completing program requirements

Crisis Referral Offices

Delmarva Adult & Teen Challenge now operates two Crisis Referral Offices, one in Northern Delaware, and one on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. These two locations help us to better reach all of Delmarva with resources and counseling to help those struggling with life-controlling addiction.

For help in Northern Delaware
call 302-234-8007

For help on the Eastern Shore of Maryland,

call 302-381-7207

To put hope within reach of every person struggling with addiction.

To see men and women set free from life-controlling addiction and pursue lives of purpose, freedom, and joy.

We accomplish this through our twelve-month program where our students are
- Enlightened to the Good News
- Empowered through Relationship
- Equipped for Service

To reach all of Delmarva, and beyond, providing the proven cure for the drug epidemic.

Delmarva Adult & Teen Challenge

SEAFORD, Del. (WBOC)- The heroin epidemic and drug addiction problems continue throughout Delaware and Sussex County. Now, a long-term residential treatment center for women is just around the corner.

For six years, Delmarva Teen Challenge has had a men's center in Seaford. In that time, more than 150 men have graduated.

"Most of our guys were on heroin. If they hadn't been here, they probably would be dead," said Bob Carey, Executive Director of Delmarva Teen Challenge.
